As a healthcare practitioner, I believe that personalized preventive and compassionate care is of the
utmost importance in helping people achieve their health & wellness goals. My advanced education in conventional healthcare practices as well as Functional medicine training and 29 years experience in the healthcare has enabled me to incorporate a patient-centered approach to healthcare that is tailored to the unique needs of those who are seeking a more whole-body, non-drug health restoration approach. Because beliefs, attitudes, and motivations can all play a major role in overall wellness, I examine and include the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of all of my patients in order to design a more holistic and effective wellness plan. My devotion to great and balanced health and passion for the uniqueness of each individual is the basis and primary focus of my practice. I value the trust and confidence of every patient with whom I work in partnership for better health.

Dawn Muller, Physical Therapist
Dawn Muller, Physical Therapist of 23 years, and owner of Thrive Physical Therapy and Fitness LLC,
graduated from Medical College of Georgia. She is working towards her doctoral degree at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences.
Dawn specializes in Manual Physical Therapy, a specialized practice in physical therapy using a hands-on mobilization technique to treat muscle, joint and soft tissue health problems. Women’s health issues, including incontinence, pelvic pain, scarring, post-mastectomy treatment, along with prenatal care for pain or decreased motion/function can be significantly improved through use of Manual Physical Therapy. Dawn also specializes in pre and post-surgical joint replacement rehabilitation. Her caring and supportive one-on-one approach helps to maximize recovery times to return her patients to optimum function. Recovery progress and goals are communicated and coordinated with the patient’s surgeon or health care provider.
Dawn’s other passion for the last 9 years has involved helping clients incorporate healthy lifestyle changes to improve outcomes and more quickly meet patients’ goals. She has had success with patients who suffer from Diabetes, Hypertension, and High Cholesterol; she helps improve their health by introducing them to specialized exercise and lifestyle programs.
Dawn has also been teaching/coaching clients interested in healthy weight loss by incorporating the most current medical research for an individualized weight loss plan. Dawn creates customized training programs for athletes preparing for events or interested in improving their strength, endurance, flexibility or overall performance.
She is trained in Paris, Maitland, McKenzie, Barnes, Mulligan, and Cyriax, treatments, as well as Strain/Counterstrain and Sacroiliac treatments.
Dawn has worked with professional, Olympic, and collegiate athletes, including the Falcons, the Atlanta Ballet and Georgia Tech.
Dawn has lived in Thomasville for 13 years with her husband Bruce and her 2 teenage sons.
Sarah Esra, BBA, Esthetician
Sarah Esra has her Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree with an
emphasis in Management from Valdosta State University and her License as a Cosmetic Esthetican from Southwest Georgia Technical College. Sarah is also a certified instructor in Hatha Yoga.
Sarah’s belief is that great skin starts from the inside out. Having vibrant, radiant skin is one aspect of a complete approach to health & wellness. Her passion and wish for you is to feel really good in your skin. Through a combination of creating a beneficial in-office treatment plan and teaching you how to maintain the balance of your skin with home care maintenance, her goal is to help you embrace your natural beauty!
She lives in Thomasville with her husband Billy and daughter Phoebe.
Cynthia Cowen, Massage Therapist
Cynthia Cowen specializes in relaxation, deep tissue and pregnancy massage. She is certified in medical massage and myofascial therapy (postural correction). She enjoys helping others feels better, accomplishing this with her therapeutic touch and positive attitude. She creates a "safe place" for letting go and helping the body heal.
Cynthia moved to Tallahassee, Florida, from Miami in 2000. Since the, she has managed Honeytree Natural Foods and was editor and in advertising sales for Natural Awakenings Magazine. Currently, she is licensed to practice massage in Florida and Georgia. She graduated from the Core Institute of Massage.
Cynthia is very passionate about living as naturally as possible. She chose to practice a vegetarian lifestyle 38 years ago, orginally in order to lose weight and keep it off! She raised her daughter, Tiffany, as a total vegetarian (vegan) which she remains to this day. Cynthia studied nutrition and dietetics from the Vegetarian Studies Program at the Environmental Center of Miami-Dad college, eventually becoming coordinator of the program. She co-founded and served as the director of the Miami chapter of EarthSave, a nonprofit organization that educates the public about the positive impact of a plant-based diet. She also ran EarthSave's Healthy School Lunch Program and served on the board of the Miami-Dade County Nutrition Advisory Council.
Julie Sirmans, Massage Therapist
After graduating from Wesleyan College in 1975, Julie lived in Virginia f
or 18 years before returning to her home state of Georgia. She worked in special education before making the decision to attend the CORE Institute School of Massage Therapy.
Julie has been practicing since 1999 and still finds "the healing power of massage to be amazing, even after 11 years in the field."
When Julie isn't working, she enjoys crossword puzzles and reading.
